McCLAIN’S MEADOWS LABRADORES

We believe the ideal Labrador should meet the American Kennel Club standard of health and personality. They should be ready to walk, train, go swim or hunting, and do their job during the day; at night, they should be gentle enough to play with the kids/other pets, snuggle with you on the couch, or sleep with you in bed calmly at night.

OUR PERSONAL DOGS: VINO, SKY, MARTINI, GIN AND RAMBO

SKY: Yellow Lab, Blue Collar. VINO: Black Lab, Red Collar. MARTINI: Yellow Lab, front and center! GIN: Black Lab, Blue Collar.

VINO

Vino comes from a sporting dog pedigree and was trained as a service dog by Paws -for-a-Cause for Katie McClain; Vino will be retiring from his service dog responsibilities and as a Sire in 2022.

SKY

Sky is from a winning line of show and service dogs as well. She was bred by our partner breeder, Lucky Yellow Labs in Roseburg, Oregon. Lucky Yellow Labs is owned and operated by Katie’s Aunt and Mentor, Amy O’Sullivan.

MARTINI

GIN

Gin is a Black Lab, born right here on our farm and is the daughter of Vino and Sky. She is the spitting image of Vino and has Bolo markings. Gin was selected as our next Service Dog and was fixed in 2022 as required by Assistance Dogs International for certification.

RAMBO

Rambo is Papa Joe’s therapy dog! As a Vietnam Veteran, he appreciates Rambo’s company during doctor’s appointments and while traveling. He is a very calming influence. Rambo received training from Brigadoon Service Dogs in Bellingham, Washington in 2020.

We donate a puppy from every litter to a disabled veteran through Brigadoon Service Dogs in Bellingham Washington. It is our goal to breed exceptional puppies for this program and honor the PTSD service dogs that have so positively impacted our own lives. Our dogs are exceptional members of our family.
